“Life begins where your comfort zone ends.” I stumbled across You Cannot Fail on my Facebook feed and those three words made me dig a little deeper. I allowed cystic fibrosis to define me while growing up; it took me so long to realize that I am more than my disease. Once I did, I began running – completing 2 marathons and competing at the collegiate level – and even became a DoD civilian, eventually deploying for Afghanistan. I can honestly say that, once I allowed myself to dream, I achieved and have not failed. Life is worth fighting for, so continue to breathe.
