“We don’t know how strong we are until being strong is the only choice we have.” Hi! My name is Kristal, and I was diagnosed with cystic fibrois when I was only 8-months old. I have always been active in sports – trying to remain fun and outgoing while experiencing the most of life. Over the past few years, my health has taken a turn for the worse; and now, at 25, I have been on oxygen 24/7 for the past 7-8 months. My doctors brought up a lung transplant – a scary part of my journey – but I refuse to give up and will do whatever it takes to breathe easy.
